Effective Date: August 8, 2026
Last Updated: August 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Highland Delivery Service LLC website, including its public pages and restricted employee areas (collectively, the “Website”).
By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Website.
These Terms do not replace or modify any written employment agreement, company policy, employee handbook, acknowledgment, or other legally binding document separately issued by Highland Delivery Service LLC (“Highland,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Purpose of the Website
The Website is operated as a corporate and informational platform for Highland.
The public portion of the Website is intended to:
-
Present Highland’s history, values, culture, and professional standards;
-
Provide general information about Highland’s delivery operations;
-
Introduce employment opportunities;
-
Direct prospective applicants to an authorized employment application platform;
-
Provide legitimate business and professional contact information.
Restricted areas of the Website are intended to provide active, authorized Highland employees with access to company communications, internal resources, training materials, professional feedback, and other employment-related information.
The Website does not sell products or services, accept customer delivery orders, process payments, or conduct e-commerce activities.
3. No Employment Offer or Guarantee
Information concerning employment opportunities is provided for general informational and recruiting purposes.
Nothing on the Website constitutes:
-
A promise or guarantee of employment;
-
An employment offer;
-
An employment contract;
-
A guarantee of any particular schedule, route, position, compensation, benefit, assignment, promotion, or length of employment;
-
A modification of the employment relationship recognized under applicable law.
Submitting an application or communicating with Highland through the Website does not guarantee an interview, employment offer, or hiring decision.
Employment decisions are made separately through Highland’s authorized hiring and management processes.
4. Restricted Employee Accounts
Website accounts are not available to the general public, prospective applicants, former employees, or outside organizations.
Restricted access may be provided only to individuals who:
-
Have been formally hired by Highland;
-
Are currently associated with Highland as active employees;
-
Have received company approval for Website access;
-
Use the Website only for authorized employment-related purposes.
Account access is connected to the individual’s active employment relationship with Highland. When that relationship ends, eligibility to access the restricted portions of the Website also ends.
Highland may suspend, restrict, or revoke access when:
-
An employee’s relationship with Highland ends;
-
An account is used without authorization;
-
Credentials are shared with another person;
-
Restricted information is misused or improperly disclosed;
-
Website security may have been compromised;
-
Continued access is no longer operationally or legally appropriate.
Access to the restricted portal is a limited authorization and does not create a permanent right or entitlement to use the Website.
5. Account Security
Employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity occurring through their accounts.
Employees may not:
-
Share passwords or login credentials;
-
Permit another person to use their account;
-
Create an account for another individual;
-
Attempt to access another employee’s account;
-
Attempt to obtain administrative privileges without authorization;
-
Circumvent Website access restrictions or security controls.
Employees should notify Highland promptly if they believe that their account, password, or personal information has been compromised.
Highland will never request that an employee publicly disclose a Website password.
6. Acceptable Use
Users may access and use the Website only for lawful and authorized purposes.
Users may not:
-
Use the Website to violate any federal, state, or local law;
-
Access restricted information without authorization;
-
Copy, publish, distribute, transmit, or disclose restricted company content without permission;
-
Upload malicious software, harmful code, or files intended to interfere with Website operation;
-
Attempt to disable, damage, overload, or disrupt the Website;
-
Attempt to identify or exploit Website vulnerabilities;
-
Misrepresent their identity, employment status, or relationship with Highland;
-
Collect information about other employees or users without authorization;
-
Use Website content to harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate, or harm another person;
-
Submit information that is knowingly false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful;
-
Use automated systems to extract, reproduce, or monitor Website content without written permission;
-
Use Highland’s name, logo, images, or materials for unauthorized commercial or promotional purposes.
7. Restricted and Internal Information
The restricted portions of the Website may contain nonpublic company communications, internal resources, training materials, operational information, employee-specific information, or other protected content.
Access to restricted content does not authorize an employee to distribute that content outside Highland.
Employees must not photograph, download, reproduce, forward, publish, post on social media, or otherwise disclose restricted materials unless Highland has expressly authorized that action or applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prohibit legally protected communications, reporting to a government agency, participation in a lawful investigation, discussion of legally protected employment matters, or any other activity protected by applicable law.
8. Employee Information and Professional Feedback
Restricted employee areas may provide access to individual performance information, professional feedback, training information, acknowledgments, or other employment-related records.
Highland will make reasonable efforts to present information accurately. Employees who believe information associated with their accounts is inaccurate or incomplete should contact Highland through an authorized internal channel.
Information displayed through the Website may represent only part of the employee’s complete employment or personnel record.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right an employee may have to inspect, obtain, correct, or respond to personnel information under applicable law.
9. Electronic Activity and Website Security
Highland may maintain technical and security records associated with Website access, including login activity, device or browser information, IP addresses, attempted unauthorized access, and other information reasonably necessary to operate and protect the Website.
Any electronic monitoring covered by applicable employment law will be conducted subject to legally required notices and protections.
These Terms and the Website Privacy Policy do not replace any separate electronic-monitoring notice that Highland may be required to provide to employees.
10. Employment Applications and External Platforms
Employment applications may be submitted through an external application platform linked from the Website.
The external platform may have its own terms of use and privacy policy. Information submitted directly to that platform may be processed by the platform provider according to its own policies.
Highland is not responsible for the independent operation, availability, security, or privacy practices of third-party platforms.
Applicants should review the applicable third-party terms and privacy notices before submitting personal information.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its original content—including Highland’s name, logo, visual identity, text, layout, graphics, photographs, videos, training materials, and other company-created content—are owned by or licensed to Highland and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Users may view public Website content for personal, informational, or legitimate professional purposes.
No user may reproduce, modify, publish, sell, license, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Website content without prior written authorization from Highland.
The presence of third-party names, trademarks, vehicles, technology, or services on the Website does not transfer ownership of those materials to Highland.
12. User-Submitted Information
When a user voluntarily submits a message, inquiry, application, acknowledgment, feedback, or other information through the Website, the user represents that:
-
The information is accurate to the best of the user’s knowledge;
-
The user has the right to submit it;
-
The submission does not unlawfully violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights;
-
The submission does not contain malicious software or unlawful material.
Submission of information does not transfer ownership of unrelated personal materials to Highland. Highland may use submitted information only for legitimate business, employment, operational, security, or legal purposes, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Website may contain links to external websites or services, including employment application platforms, maps, social media pages, or other resources.
External links are provided for convenience and informational purposes. Highland does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, terms, security, or privacy practices.
A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation.
14. Website Availability and Changes
Highland may modify, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the Website when reasonably necessary.
Highland does not guarantee that:
-
The Website will always be available;
-
Access will be uninterrupted or error-free;
-
Every feature will remain available;
-
All information will be updated immediately;
-
The Website will operate with every device, browser, or network.
Highland may perform maintenance, change Website features, reorganize content, or remove outdated materials without prior public notice.
15. Disclaimer
The Website is provided for corporate, informational, recruiting, communication, and internal-resource purposes.
To the extent permitted by law, the Website is provided on an “as available” basis. Highland makes no guarantee that the Website will be free from every technical error, interruption, or security risk.
Highland will make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information but does not warrant that every public statement, employment description, operational reference, or internal resource will always be complete or immediately current.
Nothing in this section limits any legal obligation Highland may have regarding employee records, personal information, Website security, or legally required disclosures.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Highland will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential harm resulting solely from:
-
Temporary Website unavailability;
-
A user’s unauthorized use of the Website;
-
A user’s failure to protect login credentials;
-
Reliance on outdated public information;
-
The independent actions or services of a third-party platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. Privacy
Use of the Website is also subject to Highland’s Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information may be collected, used, protected, retained, and disclosed.
The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information, the Privacy Policy will control unless applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Reporting Concerns
Users should promptly report suspected:
-
Unauthorized account access;
-
Website security problems;
-
Misuse of restricted information;
-
Inaccurate personal or employment information;
-
Violations of these Terms.
Reports may be submitted using Highland’s authorized contact or internal communication channels.
Highland may review reported concerns and take reasonable corrective, security, operational, or disciplinary action consistent with applicable law.
19. Changes to These Terms
Highland may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Website, company practices, available features, or applicable law.
Updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Material changes affecting restricted employee use may also be communicated through an appropriate internal channel when reasonably necessary or legally required.
Continued use of the Website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Governing Law
Except where otherwise required by applicable federal law, these Terms and use of the Website will be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable Connecticut consumer-protection, privacy, data-security, personnel-record, and employment laws.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
22. No Waiver
Highland’s failure to enforce a provision of these Terms in a particular situation does not constitute a permanent waiver of that provision or Highland’s right to enforce it in another situation.
